Rugby at school

Rugby is a sport of intense physical contact and, as such, hardly applicable to the school environment. However, it is possible to adapt its rules and stay with its basic components. My students ask me to play constantly. We do it like this (in fifth grade or higher):

• The ball is the official one, but somewhat deflated to avoid hurting the fingers and allowing a better grip. 
• The point is achieved by receiving the ball (without it falling) into the handball area, and both feet must be inside. 
• If the ball falls to the ground after a pass, it is lost. 
• The following serve is a "free" serve The one with the ball can not move, just pivot, and you can not touch him if you are marking him. 
• The faults that occur within the area are drawn from the outside (dashed line). 
• When a point has been marked, the game starts from the center of the track with each team located in its respective field. 
• We play to 10 points and, if you lose by more than 3 difference, the whole team must make a "gift" trip (go from one handball goal to another three times).
